Nestled among the rolling hills northwest of Ruston, in the heart of Mitcham's Peach Orchard, lies a quaint country store filled with many wonderful food items, gift baskets & local artists' works.

In 1999, Joe Mitcham, with the help of two local processing companies, began producing products made from Mitcham peaches as a way to utilize overripe and hail-damaged peaches.  These products were originally sold at the processing shed during the summer, but Joe soon realized the need for a a separate outlet for these and future products.  Thus the rustic wooden building was constructed adjacent to the peach shed and opened to the public.  Other companies' products were researched and sampled, and the store broadened its inventory to include a wide range of gourmet food items.  In an effort to please a variety of shoppers and to help local artisans, the store has also become a gallery housing local arts and crafts, which are sold on consignment.

There are a wide variety of items for sale at The Peach Store including hand-made bath and products, candles, and peach-themed items, all of which can be arranged in gift baskets.

Pre-made gift baskets and gift boxes are available for sale, and custom gifts can be made using products that the customer chooses.  The Peach Store sends gift boxes throughout the United States for holidays and other special occasions, and would be happy to send a part of Ruston to your friends and family.  Individual and corporate orders are welcome, and can be placed by calling or emailing the store, or by purchasing online.
